Frequently asked questions

1 Do you cover terminal illness?

Yes, for some conditions we may cover customers with a terminal prognosis.

2 Will I be paying a high premium because of my medical condition?

All premiums are based on individual circumstances; depending on the medical condition there may be an additional charge to cover it.

3 Do I need to know the types of medication I am on?

We will need to know the names of your medical conditions, but not the names of your medication.

4 What is Medical Screening?

At Fit 2 Trip we want to provide travel insurance to as many people as possible, regardless of their medical circumstances; to give them the peace of mind that they are protected for medical emergencies when they travel; or for the cost of their travel should they need to cancel their trip.

At Fit 2 Trip we use our medical screening process, which has been developed working with medical specialists, to assess our customers on an individual basis and tailor their travel insurance to fit them.

Provided you have told us about your health conditions, once you are covered by a Fit 2 Trip policy, you can be confident that you will be covered for trip cancellation and or medical emergencies when you travel, even if they relate to your existing medical condition.
